With the TurboTax Online editions, you can test out and try Premier 2014 for free. Just set-up a free account and you can start your tax return for free (with no credit card needed). You’ll be able to see your refund estimates, any fees you may own to Uncle Sam, and all the dedications that you qualify for. Then once you finish entering in your financial earnings and info, you’ll need to decide if you want to continue with TurboTax and complete/submit your Federal and State tax return. You’ll also not be able to print your return until you purchase one of the versions. There is no time limit on the free trial and you will be able to save your information throughout the process and continue at a later time.
When will TurboTax release Premier for 2016 (for completing your 2015 tax return)?
If you’re one of those people that love to complete their taxes as soon as possible just to have it over with, then you can expect to see the next versions to come in around the first week of December at Intuit.com. Then in the first week of December 2015, resellers like Staples, Office Depot and Best Buy will have them in-store. If you’re in Canada, the new versions are expected to come out in mid-January, 2016.
