Adobe continues this student discount with the new Creative Cloud line line at the Adobe Student Store. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the prices, you’ll see that the deals offered for students are better than any promo codes out there on the regular versions. All qualifying students will save 40% on the membership plan for the duration of their High School or College education. This deal drops the price down to just 29.99/month.
So what is the Creative Cloud? It’s basically a membership that lets you download and use any product that’s found in Master Collection, plus a few others that are exclusive to your membership. This includes Photoshop Extended, Illustrator, Lightroom, Acrobat and a bunch more as part of the membership plan. Most of the student and teachers versions are available worldwide at adobe.com in English and the localized languages. Rather than paying upfront like you did traditionally, you’re now just paying a low monthly charge. And unlike buying the box, all your upgrades and product changes are free as long as your membership is in good standing.
What’s the catch? Are there any restrictions? Does the license expire after you graduate? The good news is that there’s no major catch. The student versions are exactly the same as the higher priced ones in functionality. You just can’t transfer ownership to anyone down the road if you would want to sell your license. The version will never expire, even when you are no longer attending school.
So who qualifies for this offer? Any students currently attending school anywhere between first grade and college, as well as teachers and professors, which can show proof of enrollment, can take advantage of this offer. See below for the details on the qualification forms needed for approval.
